Choosing Action - Use the Premack Principle Instead of Postponing the Inevitable

Make use of a pleasant activity as a praise for an unpleasant task. Get ranking your tasks and activities for the day as a way of desirability; do the just about all undesirable then reward oneself with a appealing activity.  premack principle  have now done that with children when we informed them they could go have fun with playing after they cleaned their room.

"The prize of one responsibility is the power to fulfill an additional. " ~George Eliot, French novelist (1819 - 1880)

Although I know this was officially used on me as a child I like the following principle, at this point is an example of the principle for action.

Today's to-d0-list includes this:

- Cut the turf
- "Summer-ize" the back patio
- Clear back outdoor patio flower foundation
- Upright vacuum cleaner home and furnishings
supports Clean out fire
- Generate Taking Action Articles
-- Paint a thing
- Complete paperwork for that presentation at end in month
-- Schedule and perhaps have a massage

Now ranked in order from most desirable to a minimum of

- Create Taking Action articles
supports Schedule and maybe have a therapeutic massage
- "Summer-ize" the back deck
- Coloring something
- Complete agreements for a business presentation at end of week
- Eliminate the fireplace
- Vacuum house and fixtures
- Cut the lawn
- Cleaning back veranda flowerbed

The Premack Rule, as I appreciate it, says I should do the least desirable item initially then reward myself using a more desirable item. At this time I was obviously creating articles, I have not even already cleaning the flowerbed off the back deck. But if I just were to proceed with the principle I will accomplish issues in this buy today

supports Clean up the flowerbed off the back porch
supports Write Spending Action content articles
- Cut the lawn
- Schedule and possibly have a massage
- Vacuum home and furnishings
- "Summer-ize" the back patio
- Get rid of the fireplace
- Paint some thing
- Entire paperwork to get a presentation for end of month

Once i look at this list I think it is not necessarily the most reliable use of my time so, just how about We group activities and give good results to my strengths and natural energy rhythms

-- Mow the lawn and clean up again porch flowerbed (as longer as I have always been outside obtaining dirty discussing do these kind of together)
-- "Summer-ize" the back porch simply by repainting the ground and resetting it pertaining to summer activities (this pays off soon after in the day)
- Eliminate fireplace and Vacuum residence and furnishings (need to wait until my daughter wakes up to do this)
- Publish Taking Action Articles (needs to be morning hours activity, I just is some morning writer)
- Complete paperwork for the presentation by end from month (could do this later in the day on the "summer-ized" back porch)
- Schedule and possibly have a very good massage (this is a reward not really a to do)

These now better and play to my personal strengths and natural energy levels rhythms list looks like this kind of

- Generate Taking Actions Articles
-- Mow the lawn and clean up once again porch flowerbed
- "Summer-ize" the back porch by painting the floor and resetting that for summer season activities
supports Clean out fireplace and Pressure home and furnishings
-- Schedule and possibly have a rub down
- Complete paperwork for your presentation at end in month
